Theatrefor Development
Using performance and storytelling to spark dialogue and drive social change in communities.
The Challenge & Our Approach
Using performance and storytelling to spark dialogue and drive social change in communities.
This program turns creativity into a tool for transformation. Young people are trained as community performers who use theatre to address real issues — from gender and health to identity and governance. Performances take place in public spaces, schools, and community centres, creating moments where people reflect, question, and engage in conversations that matter.
