ourMission
COME INITIATIVE was built on a single, uncompromising belief — that young people already have the answers. Our role is to create the conditions for those answers to be heard.
A youth-led movement dedicated to health, skills, and community dignity.
To Impart Value Based Skills of Young People by Building their Capacity and that of their Influencers for socio-economic Development.
To build a community that is able to make informed choices in life.

& Driven
The Challenge
For too long, development has happened to us, not with us.
Traditional top-down models often treat young people as passive beneficiaries of aid, rather than the architects of their own solutions. Programs are designed in boardrooms miles away, failing to address the nuanced, lived realities of youth in informal settlements and marginalized regions like Kisumu and Kakuma.
The Flip
We change the model.
At COME INITIATIVE, we operate on a simple premise: those closest to the problem are closest to the solution. We co-create every initiative with the community, ensuring local ownership, cultural relevance, and long-term sustainability.
What We Do
Four Pillars of Work.
Health & Wellbeing
Ensuring young people have the knowledge, access, and agency to make informed decisions about their bodies, health, and futures.
Livelihoods
Equipping youth with skills, networks, and resources to generate sustainable income and build economically independent lives.
Civic Engagement
Creating meaningful pathways for young people to participate in governance, hold institutions accountable, and shape policy.
Creative Arts
Using drama, storytelling, and performance as tools for community dialogue, identity-building, and social change.
We measure success not by the programs we run,
but by the leaders we leave behind.
Our ultimate goal is obsolescence. We are building a future where young people have the tools, capital, and platforms to solve their own community’s challenges, independent of outside intervention.
