Our Programs

Jijue

Is a Behavior Change Program that aims to sensitize adolescence youths on HIV/Aids, Morality, Drugs & Substance Abuse through; the use of Magnetic Theatre, Mentorship and Counselling. We form clubs/groups in the community/Schools. Then through these clubs we engage them in weekly Group Discussions sessions & Community Outreaches.

Jiamini

Is a Talent Development program that Empowers Children & Youths through Talent.Youths are offered weekly coaching & mentorship on; Modeling,Design,Acting,Music,Dance & Painting. After-which we organize a monthly exhibition event where they showcase their talents.

Jiajiri

Is a program that Empowers the youths through Agriculture,ICT & Life Skills Coaching. The youths are Trained on Effective Agricultural Techniques,Computer Knowledge,Online Work, App Development,Studio & Music Production,Graphics Design, Financial Literacy & Entrepreneurship. Through this program,the youths are well equipped with skills that enables them to earn a decent living.

There are over 40,000 adolescent children in Kenya trapped in sex trade. Most of them are driven into prostitution because of community poverty.

They trained me on how to paint using brushes and oil paints. Initially I used to paint on paper and using only pencils to draw. I was number one in Storiyangu challenge for my best painting. I am grateful to COME Initiative they helped me realize and grow my talent.

Sarah – Cherry Briely Children’s Home

My Stage Name is ‘IM’I live at Cherry Briley Children’s Home-Kisumu. I am a talented actor and footballer. Before COME Initiative came to our Home I didn’t know how to act and I was afraid to stand in front of people. Today I am the best actor and I recently won the best actor medal at the storiyangu festival. Thanks to COME Initiative for helping me in my talent. COME Initiative is the place to be.
